Hockey

2025 Hockey Program

The program provides Physical Development (Strength & Conditioning Training, Physical Therapy) & Personal Development, (Time Management & Goal Setting, Nutrition, Media Awareness, ACE Day, Sports Psychology) in addition to Technical Skill Development. The program is lead by Head Coach Daniel Godfrey, who brings to the program many years of successful coaching and also has many years’ experience as a player.

• Latrobe Synthetic Sports Facility, Mary Grant Bruce Drive, Churchill 3842
• Gippsland Regional Sport Complex Hockey Pitch, Cobains Rd, Sale 3850
• Bellbird Park East Pavilion, Lampard Rd, Drouin 3818

All session times will run as follows:

BOYS: 9 am – 12 pm

GIRLS: 1 – 4 pm

BOY GOALKEEPERS: 11.30 am – 12.30 pm

GIRL GOALKEEPERS: 12.30 – 1.30 pm

Practice Match Day : Sunday 30th March 2025 @ Churchill

• VENUE:               LVHA Churchill Hockey Facility
• TIME:                   8.45 am – 1 pm (approx)
• FORMAT:            4 x matches vs Gippsland All Stars teams (girls and boys teams alternating); games will consist of 4 x 10 minute quarters

ACE Day: Tuesday 8th April –  TAFE Gippsland / GSA Office, Newborough (attendance is expected)

Gippsland Bulls Trial Day:  u12/u14/u16: 27th April ; u18: 20th July @ WORLD Sporting Precinct, Bairnsdale (times to be confirmed)
